DCM boost converter example
I think I am missing something in understanding how the equation for the power source value was derived in equation 11.57.Can someone elaborate on this?
The p of the power source is equal to V_drop*I. From Fig 11.12(b), the I of the power source is the same as the load current (3A). The V_drop of the power source is the difference between Vout (36V) and Vg(24V). So you can get equation 11.57.
