Simulink linearization issue

Hi all,

I am going through the professor's paper on the sync buck model and I am stuck on page 16 (Linearization inputs and outputs). I was able to set the control System Toolbox Preferences but when I right-click on the vc signal, I don't see the option for Linearization Points. Has anybody seem the same issue?

  1. If you right click on the signal net (like iLoad, vc, etc..), you should see Linearization points at the very bottom of the list and then you right arrow to pick input, output, open loop, etc.....

  2. Side question: Can someone tell me how to post a new topic? I don't see how. I only see how to comment on someone elses topic.

  3. If you still don't see it, let me know and I can send a pic (showing it in the tool) in the email if you tell me your email. I don't see how to post a file clip here.

  4. Rick, when you log in you should be taken to a page where there is a button that says New Post. Otherwise, once you are logged in and looking at a thread, there is a New Post link at the top right.

  5. Finally got it working.

I was supposed to buy the "Simulink Control Design Toolbox" and not "Control System Toolbox"

  6. The student version ($99) already includes "Control System Toolbox," which is required. "Simulink Control Design" is a separate add-on ($29) to the student version.
