HW 2 problem 2

I am having problems getting the ratio between the two currents to match the ratio between the two voltages (i.e. I can't use a transformer to model the equations I am coming up with).  Is it a requirement for the equivalent circuit we create to have a transformer, or can we use dependent voltage and current sources in our equivalent circuit?

  1. As in all other examples discussed in class, the model should include an ideal transformer, and components that represent the effects of losses

  2. Hello,

I am having the same problem. It is not apparent how to get the current equation into the proper form for the transformer to be correct. Maybe if we work together, we can get through this step. I am available for email, gchat, phone, or fb.
