PWM comparator questions

I have not been able to find a comparator that will work in this application. I'm sure there is one, but I'm not having much luck with getting the output for d correct. I have the sawtooth, and Vm , but I'm struggling with the comparator.
Suggestions?

  1. Hi Laura,
I would rather use an arbitrary voltage source to generate d. Voltage of the source being Vm times the gain of the PWM.

  2. How will that give us V/Vc for the spice simulations?

  3. Notice that Vc can be considered as an arbitrary voltage source as well. Voltage of which is dependent on the converter parameters. Set the dc operating point and perform AC analysis. I'm yet to design the compensator, but hope this works.
