HW4 problem 1A

Hello:

For this problem should we use the small-signal average switch model, or can we use a model similar to Fig 7.27?

    The previous examples in the book did not use the switch model so I planned to use the model similar to figure 7.27.

    Also I'm assuming we can ignore diode voltage drop, and transistor Ron since no mention was made to include losses. Anyone else have an opinion on these two items?

    For hand analysis you may use the model in fig.7.27 and neglect losses. Spice simulation model should use averaged-switch model CCM3.
